Ballentine Trail

Distance : 26 Miles (Round Trip)

Location : 8 miles south of Sunflower. Trailhead is well marked just off the highway.

A hike along beautiful boulder strewn area west of the Matazal Divide. This trail begins with 1/2 of the Pine Mountain Loop 3 miles from the trailhead, there is a large mountain to your right called "The Boulders". This can be a dry hike, make sure you take plenty of water.
