Rainbow Beach Ciruit

Location : 150 km North Brisbane

The Rainbow Beach Circuit is in The Great Sandy National Park. (Cooloola Section) The trail starts from Rainbow Beach to Double Island Point, then back along the beach past the famous Coloured Sands, to Rainbow Beach. The landscape comprises long beaches, high dunes and lakes centred on the upper catchment of the Noosa River. The vegetation that predominates in the Cooloola section includes woodlands of banksia and scribbly gum, shady blackbutt forests, and rainforests with towering trees.
